Worrying Well is a destination for parents and their kids to talk about what’s keeping them up at night

We all worry, why not worry well! By sharing our experiences and strategies we help alleviate some of the anxiety that comes with the human experience

Worrying Well is a platform for myself and my two daughters to talk about our daily adventures and how we see things from our own point of view.

A bit about me…

I am a husband, father, brother, son, and friend. I have a loving family, a successful career as an entrepreneur, certifications as a Parenting and Recovery coach and maybe a slight golf obsession, (and of course a lot more) but mostly I am a full time, all in, girl dad to two teenage daughters - Worrying impacts all of those relationships consciously or subconsciously.

It’s been proven that sharing our stories and experiences help us not feel so terminally unique.

Why I started Worrying Well…

I have built a wonderful life beyond my wildest dreams but worrying has always been there at every turn.

In talking with a friend some years back we began discussing life and ultimately the difficulty we both struggle with in trying to enjoy each day to the fullest without “Worrying”.

I asked this friend who was terminally ill if you could go back and change one single thing what that would be. His response was

“ I wouldn’t have Worried so much”

This led me to think about the concept of Worrying in various aspects of my life and how I have dealt with different life situations in a productive manner without being paralyzed by fear.

And my girls…

A few years ago when our dad talked with us about Worrying Well and how it involved talking about our feelings, we naturally wanted no part of it. A few years later, now that we’re both in high school and dealing with our own stress (not to mention pandemic), we both decided that sharing our teenage worries could be valuable both for us and other kids our age.

It may even help our parents get some perspective on the things we are worried about since…

worrying has no age…
